Description
Eyes of the Totem is a Beautiful Angle letterpress poster that was designed, written and printed in September of 2015. It was done in support of the release of Eyes of the Totem, a silent movie shot in 1926 by H.C. Weaver Studios in Tacoma, WA. and lost for decades. The film was recently rediscovered in the archives of a museum in New York City. Eyes of the Totem was directed by W.S. Van Dyke, who went on to direct The Thin Man series, as well as many other feature films. The film restoration and re-release project was spearheaded by our friend and local historian, Michael Sullivan.
Please note that one of the actors in the film, Dorothy Llewellyn, is a distant relative of Tom Llewellyn.
