Description
Junkyard Dog is a letterpress poster printed in support of Tacoma’s Monkeyshines project, in celebration of the Year of the Dog and Chinese New Year. The hand-carved dog linocut is based on an image from a legendary German satirical magazine, Simplicissimus, from 1910. The headline was printed using vintage wood type. The smaller vintage lead type was set without leading.
