Sublime Blackness is a limited-run letterpress poster that was designed and printed March of 2021 using a linoleum cut carved in September of 2016. The words, printed with vintage lead type, read as follows: The sublime blackness, the 2 a.m. beginning, the open swim in the dark uterus ocean, the last starless thought before the first word spoken. Blackness is the requirement for dreams. The journey inward qualifies the outward. In the dark, we learn deeper secrets, for even the stumbling there can be beautiful.
