Description
Temptation was designed, carved, written, and printed in August of 2011. The poster was part of the Myth/Mystery series, funded by the Tacoma Arts Commission. This massive poster was printed with a steamroller at the SVC Seattle Wayzgoose. This was a 40-hour, hand-carved linocut. The poster is the intersection of the creation story and a Washington apple box fruit label.
At this point, we had been working in letterpress for about nine years, but still learning. Note the backwards “N” in the word, “BRAND.” We didn’t notice until the first one was printed.
