Description
Year of the Snake was designed, written, and printed in January of 2013. The poster was created in conjunction with the Tacoma Monkeyshines project in celebration of Chinese New Year. The text on the poster was created with vintage wood and lead type. The snake image was created with Elmer’s Glue applied to plywood.
The words on the poster read:
If he’s not being fake,
then a snake is a snake
is the snakiest snake at the lake.
And if you’re being true,
then you are a you
are the youee-est you at the zoo.
